About Us

Ever since Erica Korman (designer) was a little girl she had a fascination and love for all different kinds of jewelry.  She was always beading and creating uniquely designed pieces.  While in NYU Graduate School, she began designing jewelry for herself, friends, and family.  She began selling her custom designed jewelry at fairs and stores in New York City, as well as to co-workers and a growing network of other people.

Jewelry has always been a part of Erica’s life.  She would stop and start her jewelry-making projects, depending on the other things that were going on in her life.  Erica always knew that one day she would be able to focus on her dream and take it further.  For years, she had an ambition and desire to create beautiful, affordable, simple jewelry that had a special meaning to the individual who was wearing it.

When Erica had her daughter Chloe Jewel, she was inspired by her in so many ways.  She wanted to create a simple personalized everyday necklace that celebrated how much her daughter meant to her.  She designed the sterling silver “LOVE” necklace featuring their birthstones and initials.  It wasn’t long before other people began admiring its delicate simplicity and personalized custom design – so Chloe-Jewel was born! (Again!)
